1Do I have to wash my vehicle before tinting the windows?
It’s better to have a clean vehicle because it reduces it limits the dust in the air and limits the risk of film contamination. If vehicle can’t be washed we can work around it.
2How long does the job take on average?
- Average car and truck takes about 1 hour.
- Large SUV and Minivan requires 1 to 1 ½ hours
- Windshield heat barrier add half hour.
- Film removal add 1 to 2 hours
- Headlight or Tail Light tinting takes about 30 mins. each light.
- Headlight restoration both lights 1 hour
3What forms of payment do you accept?
All credit cards, debit cards and cash.
4Can I wait for the job to be completed?
Yes, we have a waiting room with A/C, Wi-Fi, Cable TV, water cooler and a customer restroom for your convenience
5Do I have to bring my vehicle back for any reason?
We triple check all cars so the chance of coming back is very slim. We have less than 0.5% of come backs, the lowest in the industry. If you do have a question or concern we are always there for you.
6What kind of warranty do you offer?
We use two-ply premium quality films that are backed by a lifetime and nationwide manufacture’s warranty that includes fadding.
7What is the drying time and the care for my new tints?
It takes about 4 sunny days at about 70 degrees for all water bubbles to evaporate. Cars parked in a covered garage or exposed to cloudy overcast days may need up to 7 days. It is important not to roll down the windows during the first 4 days after the installation.
8How do I clean my windows after they are tinted?
In our 34 years of experience we have performed both methods and prefer the hand cut because it is more precise than the machine cut, leaving no light gaps or excess film on a window.
9Do you do machine cut or hand cut?
These are the black dots in the rear window, side windows and the windshield. When the film over the matrix dots dries up, it sometimes turns white
10What are Matrix Dots?
These are the black dots surrounding the entire trim of the back windows some quarter windows and windshields which are about less than 1/8 of an inch on all cars. The tinting when applied is over the Matrix. When fully dried it will turn white, all cars that are tinted will show this. Look at any car that’s tinted, it’s really not a big deal. Cars such as 2dr. Mustangs, 2 dr. Bmw, 2dr. Corvettes , 2 dr Accords. Have on the top of the back window a 4″ to 5″ strip of this. When dry will and turn white sometimes uneven.
11Do I need to make an appointment or do you accept walk-ins?
Please do what is more convenient for you, we accept both. We handle walk-ins on a first-come first-served basis. In general, appointments have less waiting time.
